Alongside the headline features in v2.46, this release ships a real armful of thoughtful improvements across the platform. Individually they're modest — together they add up to an Evessio that's smarter, faster and easier to build on.
Sharper KPIs
Filter by year, see event dates, clearer naming.
Smarter cloning
Custom variables now clone across event layers.
Richer reports
New Order UUID and Country ISO columns.
Stronger foundations
Library, engine and security upgrades.
HQ KPI Dashboard improvements
The HQ KPI Dashboard gets three considered upgrades that make cross-year analysis and month-on-month tracking noticeably nicer to work with.
Years filter
Slice your KPIs by year — perfect for year-over-year comparisons and season-based analysis.
Event date column
See when each event actually happened, right there in the dashboard — no more clicking through to check.
Clearer "Unique users" naming
We've tightened up the label so what you're looking at is unmistakable at a glance.
Big win for event setup
Content cloning just became far more powerful.
Custom variable values now clone across Event, Product type and Product item layers — meaning you can start a new event and have all your bespoke logic already in place, ready to go.
Smarter content cloning during event creation
The content cloning and selection stage when spinning up a new event has been made more intuitive and more robust. It's one of those bits of the platform where every small improvement pays back many times over across a busy events season.
Selection controls
Refined controls make it easier to pick exactly what you want to bring across into the new event — and easier to spot when you've missed something.
Custom variables now clone across event layers
Custom variable values from the source event can now be cloned across the Event, Product type and Product item layers — a huge time-saver for any team relying on bespoke variables in their setups.
New Custom Reports columns
Custom Reports gain three new columns for even richer data extraction — particularly useful for finance and operations teams doing detailed reconciliation.
Order UUID
Available under [PD] Products. Perfect for tying report rows back to the underlying order records.
Country ISO2
Available under both [I] Invoice Information and [P] Personal Information. Two-letter country codes for cleaner exports.
Country ISO3
Also under [I] Invoice Information and [P] Personal Information. Three-letter codes for systems that use the longer format.
Content Types: new audio question types
v2.46 also brings brand new audio question types for Awards entries — Audio Upload for direct file submissions and Audio Link for streaming URLs, both with beautiful inline players baked in. It's a great feature and we've written a dedicated article about it.
Orders API — breaking change
This one is important for anyone integrating with Evessio via the Orders API. v2.46 includes a breaking change to the API — details of which were shared in a dedicated email — designed to make future integrations cleaner and more consistent.
Full details in our dedicated guide
If you have an integration hitting the Orders API, please review the changes and update your code accordingly. Read the Orders API guide for full detail.
Payment provider retired
Barclaycard SmartPay is no longer supported and has been removed from the platform. If you were using Barclaycard SmartPay, please switch to one of our other supported payment providers — your Evessio contact can help you plan the transition.
— Performance & security —
Continuing the quiet, essential work
Behind the visible features, v2.46 continues the ongoing work of keeping Evessio fast, secure and modern. Every one of these makes the whole platform a little bit better.
-
Library and language upgrades — closing potential security gaps and adding newer, more performant code across the stack.
-
New PDF and image processing engines — producing documents faster, and managing image sizing more cleanly than ever.
-
Admin performance boost — the admin app and file serving have been separated, giving the admin UI a noticeably snappier feel.
-
Web server layer split further — additional performance scaling headroom for the platform as customer traffic grows.
-
Security hardening — the first wave of improvements following a recent round of penetration testing, closing out potential gaps and further hardening the apps.
Small wins, big picture
Each of these updates is modest on its own. Together, they represent the kind of steady, thoughtful platform work that makes Evessio a more capable, reliable and enjoyable place to run your events — every single day.
And with plenty more on the horizon — including a totally rebuilt media library, automatic SEO for dynamic pages, and a massive overhaul of Table Booking — the momentum is only accelerating.
